I don't think he waives for WSH. COL, NYR, VGK, EDM and TOR all would likely be ahead on his list.

Caps have a ton of LTIR space so I think they might be one of the few teams that could take on a cap hit like his.

AZ or ANA will retain another 50% to make his cap hit $2.625M, I don't think that'll be an issue at all. For a player of Kane's stature (The greatest deadline rental in NHL history), teams will pay whatever price to get him under cap and on their roster. You can't let a competitor get him, especially in the same conference.
