Looking for new ideas

Description
Just trying to get some new looks.

The same old Boeser, Garland, Meier trades are getting a little tired.

Wanted to see this lineup with some new names in it. Haven't fully flushed out trades and omitted picks purposely, so trade values may not be matched up. But the three names could be interesting ones for this lineup.

I’m kind of at a loss for words for that ullmark trade.

How can you possibly think a team in the Bruins situation would consider that?

Jets deal is brutal too.

Not your best.

The deal obviously didn't work for Winnipeg, but that sure gives Jersey a stout top 6.

aren't you the guy that was calling Bratt a superstar not too long ago?
what "superstar" is taking a $7.5 x 7 deal?

you are about 1.5M off and should add another year.

It would cost NJ a lot more than that for Connor. Selling Connor would obviously indicate fire and brimstone rebuild so think Nemec to start and add.
For Connor at his cap hit there would be an absolute bidding war.

It’s next year. Presumably offseason when Boston will be looking to shed cap space to deal with the center position, Pastas big payday, and filling out the rest of the roster.

I don’t think Ullmark will be the guy they move though unless it’s last resort or offer they just can’t refuse.

Would be a fun line to watch.

Yeah, probably (I mean, not for us, but for WPG). Was really just throwing a new name out there since 90% of ACGMs are sending one of three guys to NJ (Boeser, Meier, Garland).

If I am making a real offer, I am guessing it would take 3 hard-to-give-up pieces…such as, one of our elite prospects (Nemec, Holtz), another A-rated prospect (Mukhamadullin, Casey, Foote) plus a piece off our roster and whatever pick they’d want.

Sharangovich + Nemec + Foote + 1st
Holtz + Mukhamadullin + Stillman + 1st
Mercer + Casey + Daws + 1st
Zetterlund + Marino + Gritsyuk + 1st

Crouse isn't that good, not even on the same level as Chychrun. Don't get duped by Bill Arsmtrong!!!

Yeah, if Boston needs to move cap, want to capitalize on good season by Ullmark, are ready to give Swayman #1, etc. Who knows really. I really have no idea what Bostons needs will be then…so it was really just of mish-mash of names in the return. Would be up for Swayman too.

He is on the third line, it’s not like I’d stick him with Nico or Jack. He would be taking Tatar’s spot.

Would be far better off playing him up the line up if Holtz is being traded for him in a 1 for 1, at least he can be a big body on the line as he pads the stats (who knows maybe he finds a different level to his game).

I don’t know if it would take Holtz to acquire (could probably use a mostly pick-centric package).

We just need a little heavier play in around the net. As a team, we produce tons of chances, but need to finish of tips, deflections, rebounds, etc. I think Crouse could be 20g scorer in a middle-six that generates a lot of offensive chances.

Yeah, I can see him being a good add, I just think the ask on him would be inflated. They will try to convince y'all that he's better than 2011-12 David Clarkson. He's already on pace for a better statistical year than last, so wouldn't be surprised if he gets 50-60pts with ~30G, and then ARZ advertises him as a younger and cheaper Josh Anderson next season.

The ask would probably be at least Holtz+a 1st or Mercer. I don't think he's worth Holtz alone and Mercer is producing at the same pace as him (last season, and this one so far). Just looking at the stats alone Mercer is just a younger, smaller, and more healthy version of Crouse. Imo though Mercer is more likely to reach a higher ceiling than Crouse.

Runs out after this season. I don’t see a major major issue with trading him, though it’s crazy unlikely in my opinion. But for a crap goalie, a goalie prospect (just acquired one, and if he’s traded it’s because the bruins have a very young starter), and an okay prospect…no shot. It’s a first to start the convo.

i still stand by my statement - he isn't a superstar.
i was just using the example of someone calling him a superstar and not paying him as such.

nothing has changed.
