There is so much I dont like with this.
Firstly, a reason that this team is as successful as they have been has a lot to due with chemistry. The players fit well. Perry is after one more cup before he retires, he wants nothing to do with New Jersey.
Aube-Kubel is a liability. He contributes **** all. Bad defensively and takes brutal penalties at horrible times as shown last year with Colorado in the ploffs. Tampa doesnt want or need him. Brodie doesnt fit.
You dont want to break up the 4th line of Maroon, Belly and Perry, they work so well.
Once Cirelli comes back, this team has too many centers. Domi isnt worth it given what he has provided the last few seasons.
Stammer, Point, Paul, Cirelli, Bellemare are all natural centers, no need for 1 more. If theres a playoff injury to multiple, Colton, Namestnikov and Hagel, while all are pretty bad in the circle, if cooper used them better, then it wouldnt be such a detriment to the team during injury. we saw last year late in the playoffs how many times Hagel got mismatched in the dot and how badly that effected Tampa, especially against Colorado.
This team is still very good even after losing McDonaugh, Palat and Rutta.
Lines should be-
Hagel-Point-Kuch
Killorn-Stammer-Paul
Colton-Cirelli-Namestnikov
Maroon-Belly-Perry
Hedman-Cernak
Sergachev-Perbix/Bogo
Cole-Bogo/Perbix
scratched- Fluery, Foote, Koepke
Given there are no major injuries that effect the construction of this team, all they may need to add is maybe a more skilled top 6 scorer.
