Make it a protected first. This package doesn’t do much for the jackets

I could see that, I think Boqvist really doesn't do much for the sabres as well, although I wouldn't mind him. Feel he would find himself the odd man out in buffalo as well.

Buffalo's HEALTHY D lineup looks like this...

Samuelsson - Dahlin
Power - Jokiharju
Bryson - Lyubushkin

I don't think we trade Lybushkin yet, and Jokiharju and Dahlin are getting moved off the right side for Boqvist. Because Dahls is better and Jokiharju is only a year older and is relied on to mentor Power.

Good thought though! definitely a possibility if there was a long term injury to any of buffalos RD, or Samuelsson and Power as Dahls could go back to LD without pushing one of those to 3LD where they are 2 valuable to play.


Also there is a group of sabres fans that like to be very negative on posts, ignore them and don't take it bad. they don't like to have fun and imagine lol.

Columbus probably says no at this price. Honestly this isn't the d that I would be looking for, the sabres have puck movers, I would very much prefer a build where a puck mover is paired with a big, physical, defensive d. The value as proposed is fine, probably favors the sabres, but I'd look for somebody that fits what we need better.

What do you think the Sabres would offer for David Savard?

I dont hate the value, but Lybushkin is likely back tomorrow, jokiharju in a week and dahlin plays RHD now, so not much of a need.

Fair enough! I just saw a bunch of Sabres fans saying they could use some RHD help, and the Blue Jackets have quite a few so I figured there could be a match.
