Description

Not a Blues fan, but I had the Blues finishing 2nd in the Central (and 2nd or 3rd in the West) and thought they would be the only team in the Central that could contend with the Avs. They have lost 6 in a row. It's early in the season, but Blues fans, is it time to panic. Ryan O'Reilly has only 1 goal and is a -12. Jordan Kyrou is a -15. It's only been 9 games. Krug has been a -11. I know plus minus doesn't tell everything but Binnington's numbers have been terrible (cuz of the defence i heard). I know Buch and Saad were out for a couple of games each, but the Blues should not be 3-6-0. Did the loss of David Perron and Ville Husso really affect them this badly? At first glance, the d core looks decent, so who is to blame for all the goals against? Leddy? Krug?

Perron and Husso would not turn this team around rn
Greiss has been amazing Binners been the only player showing up everyday
The team is just not clicking at all for no reason. Or we just hit our slow streak at the start.
A line from the nhl games fits perfectly with this. You lose 5 games in the middle of the season, no one cares. You lose the first 5 games of the season everyone hears about it.
Itll turn around trust the process

Iam in peace with this. If they miss plaoffs its good for franchise in long term (dont give/resign ROR, Tarasenko contracts). + draft selection in top 16 (maybe more 1st from trades).

Our goalies have been playing good, the problem is our competitiveness. We aren’t playing a hard 60 minutes and our defencemen are playing very weak around our net. We don’t play as a team we move up the ice with 3 players not 5. Our 4th line has been great for giving energy, but the next line out there doesn’t provide anything, mkt moving anyone yet, Armstrong said Berube isn’t going anywhere which I agree with, and there is not 1 player who isn’t buying in, I’d say it’s 90% of our team, if not more
