Lindholm is more valuable then that. Don't really think Detroit would be willing to part with what it would take to get him out of Calgary

Way off target, Calgary doesn't consider this.

Thanks for the feedback. As food for thought - How much is the value of Lindholm affected by his former line mates (Jonny H and Ta-ka-chuck)? I'd say the extra goal scoring capabitilies for both Bertuzzi and Vrana is a palatable deal. The wild card is Zadina who has Great potential, but he's just got a bit of a mind block in Detroit and may thrive in Calgary.

The way you said Tkachuk there is really triggering ngl.

As for what you say on Bert and Vrana, I consider Vrana and Kylington to be a wash. Both are more or less 1 dimensional players in their respective positions and a similar impact rate, same term, and both are currently out due to personal reasons. With Bert, while I like his playstyle he's still very injury prone and on an expiring contract. From a pure value standpoint, despite Lindholm's slow start to the season I would say Bert pales in comparison. I don't see much value at all in Zadina right now. He may get claimed off of waivers like Valimaki was for the Flames but that's about it.

I think you proposed this under the pretense that Lucic has extremely negative value which is just not the case at all since he's on an expiring deal and owed almost zero actual money

I don't understand how you consider Bertuzzi injury prone. He had one significant injury to his back one time. Other than very insignificant things, that every single player goes through, he's been quite healthy. He is out right now but taking a 90 mph shot to the hand would put anyone out.

I mean he's only had 1 season where he didn't miss games. Last year he technically wasn't injured but he missed time due to covid in December. It's very fair to say there are health concerns with him, especially in a trade like this where there aren't any around Lindholm. I'm not saying he doesn't have value, if he's healthy and traded at the deadline it will be a pretty good return but he certainly can't be expected to return a better player in a more sought after position and with more term
