Why would you make any trade that involves Lindholm going the other way? He's one of the Flames best players on a very good deal.

Detroit says no backsies - they're getting the best player in the deal by a mile. I wouldn't trade Lindholm out of Calgary without another legitimate 1C coming back.

Look back at Lindholm's stats in Carolina (average < 0.5ppg) . Don't forget that a key part to how he even reached UP TO a point per game were his 2 line mates who arguably are 2 of the best players in the league. Yes he is good, but I don't think he is as valuable as you make him out to be.
