This is not the trade that gets the Flames over the hump, but if you wanna give it a shot, we are down. Deal!

I don't mind the idea of reuniting Dadonov with Huberdeau, but they should be on the same line.

If we were to do this, we wouldn't have Cap Space to call anyone up without subjecting any of our current roster players to waivers though

So the question is, will Dadonov be more of a difference maker than Phillips, Zary, Pelletier, Jones or Zohorna and will using $2.5mil on him be smart OR should we be patient till we can acquire someone who will clearly be less of a gamble

It's 1.2 with the player coming back, right?

I can save you the suspense... Sutter scratches him after 3 games and he never sees the ice again baring major injuries including 3 callups.

Has he really dropped off that much!? Seems like he struggles on bad teams, like OTT & MTL but does okay on good ones

He put up 20 Goals with Vegas last Season and produced with Huberdeau in FLA or are those days clearly over for him?

I think it would be better suited a trade deadline move and try internal options first. He is a good complimentary player but doesn't drive play himself. He can finish and make passes and plays decent all around but just needs good line mates to excel.

We have not seen enough to form a true opinion, but he's been awful with the Habs. Giveaways without end, he's where plays go to die. No defensive play to speak of, especially no back-checking. I cannot see how he can help a team like Calgary.

Just my opinion from what I've seen.
