Very good results playing lower end 2nd pair minutes. Could be worth a try next to Rielly as the play style makes a ton of sense, the only question being if he could handle the larger minutes. At the very least, Demelo would greatly solidify our PK + depth pairs

    The ask is probably going to be pretty high, like the 2023 1st + a good prospect and some.

    If he's available, I think the Leafs inquire about him but probably don't end up pulling the trigger, I feel that same about Soucy, and Dumba. Perhaps Gavrikov (if he truly plays right side as I saw somewhere) would be the guy they land.

    That seems like a huge overpay, I'm a Jets fan that doesn't see what the fascination is with DeMelo though.

    I think the ask would be ridiculous when the Leafs inquire, but they won't make the deal of course.

    The fascination with him from Leafs' fan is that he's a RHD and apparently almost every RHD in the league is better than Holl.

    Yup, any and all RD are better especially 3rd pair guys from bad teams.
