My only reference on him would be his lack of playing time at the NHL level despite a PPG in the AHL, so I just figured he was a player on the outs and wouldn't cost as much.

he had issues with staying healthy, they are breaking him in slowly, but he plays in our top 6 and produces, hes a solid prospect i just dont see a spot for him longterm on our team. esp with knies coming up, nils lundkvist fecthed a first so im basing his value off that trade, chances are penguins draft late and wont find a better player than robertson and hes ready right now for NHL minutes, it helps both teams imo,

It just seems like ever GM is really overhyping the 23 draft and Hextall is notoriously cheap to begin with. Can't see him parting with a first.

I never understand this logic. Leafs have no depth on LW going forward, and you're worried about Robertson not getting a spot? No guarantee Knies is an NHLer or that he even signs with the Leafs. He might be go the NCAA grad UFA route. Bunting, Kerfoot and Engvall are UFAs at season end. Robertson might only NHL experienced LWer they have next season.
