So you want a point a game player (and not just this year, but for almost his entire career) for a 3rd liner, an undrafted 24 year old (who's not bad, but projects bottom 6 in the NHL) and a their own second?
Tarasenko goes for a first and a good prospect at the deadline if STL is still wallowing in the basement

I mean for that cheap I'll take him, but it just doesn't make sense to get Tarasenko to Detroit. They aren't a playoff contender just yet.
