Does't really matter if it was Armia, Dadanov, Hoffman, Drouin. Replace Armia with any of them. Does the trade work then ?

Formenton is even more blacklisted than Miller. It goes against everything all NHL teams stand for to touch a player involved in the Hockey Canada scandal.

Unless one has been living under a rock (regarding the NHL), I have no idea why people continue to include him in ACGMs.

He has ZERO value until his name is CLEARED, if that ever happens.

If his name gets cleared, then lol at this proposal.

Ottawa isn't adding a problem by trading for Armia. Even for Zaitsev (who is a cheap buy out and has one year LESS left)

Montreal isn't going to trade for Formenton after drafting Logan Mailloux and all the backlash it created lol

It's not even possible anyway, Ottawa is not going to trade him. They'll wait to see if he will regain his value or not.

Sure but... You know his name is not getting cleared right? His career is at risk here. If he was not involved in some way he would have spoken up or a representative would have spoken on his behalf.

How does he benefit by not speaking about it and not playing.

I don't think it means as much as people think but only his lawyer could answer that. All we can do here is speculate.

That being said, I have a feeling he's involved. He has completely disappeared, unlike Batherson who was still doing alumni stuff and living life normally. Unless he's a sociopath acting like nothing was wrong, I don't think he's guilty. I think he was ordered to not say anything to not incriminate Formenton. I hope we will find out. Criminals don't deserve anything of a privileged life

Okay that's my bad I haven't really been following the hockey Canada scandal very closely. All I knew was he had a pretty decent 1st season last year and that he was still an unsigned RFA this year. Sorry boys
