If you want Slavin, the conversation starts with Draisaitl. Slavin is way too important for the Canes to trade, and with the Canes cup window being open right now, Slavin won’t get moved outside a massive overpayment, which offer doesn’t even come close.

If you think that starting price is too much, Canes will just keep the league’s best defensive dman.
