That might get Chychrun but there is no way Minnesota would ever consider that deal.

Admittedly not alot. I actually meant to make the pick a 2nd rnd. But it does provide them with a slightly cheaper option on RD for next yr while their young guys percolate some more, because I dont see them resigning Dumba. And if PJ could benefit from a change of scenery, this trade could turn out to be a win for Minny.

Regardless of whether they decide to extend Dumba or not you are still trying to value a winger with a career high of 36 points to a center with career high of 65 points. That should instantly block the trade

Minnesota declines. They aren't trading dumba or Hartman to take on cap dump Tyson berry and also take on Jesse

Minnesota isn't taking on cap dump when they have Brock faber and bunch of top d prospects coming in. You forget Minnesota cap situation and didn't pay for your cap dump. You also didn't pay for dumba or Hartman

At this point Barrie is a better player than Dumba. Dumba's numbers this yr so far are atrocious. Barrie is a perennial 40 point dman and also played defensively well in the playoffs last yr & has started off decent this yr, playing 20+ minutes a night- Barrie is not a cap dump. The only thing making this trade unfair for Minny is Hartman going the otherway for essentially just PJ, and i agree that is unfair, a higher pick would definitely have to be added.

Minny is in cap Hell because of those buy outs....for them to move a cheap multi year deal like Hartzy it would take a kings ransom.

Barrie is absolutely a cap dump. Trade him elsewhere then because you have zero appreciation of Minnesota cap. Minnesota will keep dumba and you can keep Tyson Barry and his bad defense/ cap / contract

Dude yoi again fail to recognize dumba's worth or that he's a free agent Minnesota can easily get high 2nd or late 1st for. Again, MIN isn't taking on your crappy player/ contract. Go dump him on someone else

Puljujarvi is being paid 3M and is on pace for 13 points on what is currently the team that is 3rd in goals for per game. At this rate, he doesnt get extended a qualifying offer. Until he picks up his production, hes worth next to nothing.

Minnesota declines for the reasons mentioned above. That being said, we appreciate the offer. Apologies for the negativity from other users. I have no idea why folks get so upset at trade proposals, especially new ones. smile

Bro, dumba isn’t worth a high 2nd or late 1st. His contract is expiring and he’s been awful.

Because barriers is a cap dump. Pul isn't good. Dumba has 0 year left and at deadline If Minnesota is out, Minnesota can trade hom easily for late 1st.

Puljujarvi isn’t not good. He just hasn’t proved yet. Dumba isn’t going for a late first. His contract is expiring. This guy isn’t like Morgan Rielly or Jacob Chychrun. Dumba could go for a first but not with his expiring contract.

Nah bro, This isn’t 2016-17-2017-18 Dumba we’re talking about. We’re talking about 2022-23 Dumba. The mans broken 25 points 4 times in his 10 year career and they were by slim margins. He’s got a -5 in +/-, 22 hits and 19 penalty minutes, a 4.76 S%. He’s on pace for 15 damn points. This player isn’t worth a 1st round pick. At least, not anymore.

Right because all people care About is points. Rhd are coveted no Matter what you think. His defense has beyond improve, abd his contract is expiring. Ben c got a 2nd last deadline. Get out of here with thus bs. Edmonton paid a 2nd and good prospect/ player for 8th d from Montreal

Barrie is a perennial 50 point RHD who is on pace for 60+ this year. He regularly wins his minutes and has had a positive impact on 5v5 goal share in 9 of 10 recent seasons (including this one). He's not a cap dump.

Barrie is absolutely a cap dump. It's amazing how Edmonton fans try to dump him on other teams fans and get mad when called out
