Description

1. Ottawa would probably have to move Zaitsev first, before thinking about Barrie.
2. 1 for 1 trade. Two struggling players, maybe a new home would help.
3. Huge Nick Jensen fan, can munch 20 min/night, not bad offensively. He'd make the Oilers blueline much better I feel. Obviously Caps would have to be outside the playoff-picture to make this happen.

Quite frankly i think edmonton takes that and runs on kasperi.

i would play kapanen with mcdavid and yamo 3rd line. Kapanen is good at run and gun.

What do you think the add would be to remove the Kapanen salary retention? That's for two years and the Pens are up against the cap ceiling as well. A 1-for-1 deal is very close to being cap neutral anyway.

PIT arent willing to retain half of Kap's salary for 2yrs. We'd be fine w/ retaining 200k to level out AAV to $3 million

The Jensen trade is very fair, nice job. I'd personally rather get a solid D prospect and maybe a late pick back instead, but like I said, this is definitely fair value

Despite an underwhelming statline, Brannstrom has been one of the few bright spots on this discombobulated team

Sens keep the younger/cheaper player, they don't want Barrie's cap next year. He's also the total opposite of the kind of RHD the Sens need to add
