Quoting: Chabotrrorr
Kerfoot + Niemela + 1rst + 2nd + 3rd is the price for O'Reilly, if not more.
1rst + Malgin is the price for Barbie.
Holl + 3rd/4th round pick is the price for Bortuzzo (because of the cap)
This trade could work if St. Louis considered Hirvonen + 3rd more enticing than a first round pick, but I honestly don't think O'Reilly is on the trade block, and I think you'd need to crazily overpay to get him.
Niemela (they would probably want Knies though)+1st+2nd+3rd is the price for O'Reilly if he's getting like 60 points and playing well. He's a 31 yo, 1C ufa. He's not bringing in more than that. Kerfoot could be tossed in for cap reasons if there wasn't other players involved too.
Barbashev for Kerfoot is more or less a 1 for 1. Barbashev is not fetching a 1st, he had one good season, and it's looking like an outlier not a break out season.
The difference in skill between Holl and Bortuzzo will make up for the cap, but Holl has no term, so at best Toronto adds a 3rd but more than likely a late pick if not nothing.
So:
O'Reilly+Barbashev+Bortuzzo for Niemela+Kerfoot+Holl+1st+2nd+two 3rds+1.65m in cap space is more than enough.
Leafs then keep Malgin and Hirvonen.
If O'Reilly gets traded with his value being low, he's definitely not bringing in a top prospect, the 1st rounder might get demoted to a future 1st or two 2nds.
