Why? He's averaged 23 goals and 24 assists the last 2 seasons. He's extremely overpaid (6.65M) for what he brings in that context. He's currently got 0 goals and is on a 0.5 ppg pace once again. What am I missing? Would you agree Tiffoli's trade value is a fair comparison?

Eddy is great. He's gonna get a Chiarot-style (maybe a bit less cause they overpaid) return when he gets traded.

Armia is overpaid, but he's not trash. Armia is in fact a very effective defensive forward. The Canucks have too much offence and not enough defense.

Armia is an overpaid 4th liner. Eddy is injury prone and 35. Give me a break.

He's not bad. Just turned 29 so on the right side of 30. He can help a team that sorely needs defense. Not gonna bring any offense, but that's not at all what Vancouver needs.

Two very different players. Reilly does not block shots. Reilly does not hit. Does not hit with power. Does not have a mean streak.

I don’t think Edmunson is particularly effective tbh. He’s fine as a low end second or third pair option.

I would say he's a 2nd pair defensemen on a good team. He's not a 3rd pair guy. He's reliable for 20-22 minutes a night. Once you push him above 22 things can go off the rails a bit.

He would be third pair on pretty much every team in the Metro…. Legit can’t think of one team that would play him top four minutes lol.

Edmundson > Dumoulin (only since his surgeries have really slowed him down. He's fighting the puck and to get in position)
