You know it is a bad trade when you start with WHO? as your first comment.

So you are trading a Starting goalie that is struggle with injury for a Defensive prospect 1 vs 1?

Not to mention the fact that NJD goalies are equally just as good if not better this season at a much cheap price. Also still have a prospect in Daws waiting to play games again at the NHL level.

Now if the trade was Demko for Daws and picks then maybe but again that doesn`t help NJD here.

Blackwoods .880 looks good so far this season lol. Vanecek has been good but he’s not a starting goalie or else Washington wouldn’t have paid for a new goalie in keumper.
