I would keep McCann

And send Wright to AHL for couple of weeks.
Kid needs to play.

Kid is right. He is 18 which is not eligible for AHL. Its Seattle or back to the CHL which is a 1-way trip.

I believe there are two ways he can go to AHL. First, if he is past the 9-game threshold, but is healthy scratch 5 times, he can go to AHL for two weeks. Second, is for injury rehab assignment, also two weeks.

Both circumstances are rare, so aren’t well known. But there are exceptions to the CHL-NHL rule.
