As already noted by several commenters, there are a few "unlikely" trades in this post.
Timo Meier will get more than a 1st and an AHL player at the deadline.
Teams like Edmonton are not looking for mid-range draft picks in exchange for their 1st round pick and a top prospect.
In general most teams would not trade their 1st round pick for a number of mid-round picks.
Maybe for a later 1st and a couple of 2nds but even that might be a stretch.
Teams that are competing for the playoffs will want to trade picks for players that can help now and maybe send a redundant player or bad contract back to balance the cap.
Teams also typically don't retain salary for more than 2 years so I don't see the Jackets trading Elvis with 1/2 retention for another 4 years even if they are waivering about whether he is the long-term solution in net.
