It’s been 10 bad games. Demko is still an elite goalie. It’ll cost more than a bad goalie, decent goalie prospect, bad roster player, and LHD prospect that is not a need at all. Nothing in that deal helps the Canucks at all

ZERO chance we’d consider Levi
And frankly, this proposed trade gives u guys WAY TOO MUCH for a goalies who’s been bad this season
Especially considering we’re taking the Myers contract off your hands

Portillo plus another piece (Johnson, a 2nd or taking Myers off your hands) should be enough- imo anyways

Plus at this point Myers is more valuable to the Canucks than he is in a trade, so they won’t take a lesser return to move him

Demko has never been “elite”
He has been a good goalie over the last couple seasons,
but u simply will not get top value for him while he’s playing poorly- even if it is just 10games

The last two seasons he’s been great, always with a terrible defense in front of him. 10 bad games doesn’t change the fact that he’s a top end goalie with a great contract

He has been elite for the past 2 years. He is only 26. Can’t expect all goalies be elite at 21 years old
