I like it for Vancouver. As a Canucks fan I don't want to see Horvat go but it almost seems inevitable at this point. Getting Krebs and a first with the other pieces is pretty good value

Probably too much for Horvat alone, but not enough for both Horvat and Garland

Not sure, I remember Daren Dreger saying that trading partners for Buffalo could be LA, CAR, or WPG for D

I usually see LA fans trying to trade the undersized puck moving right shot d, I have no interest in these players with our current build. Roy makes sense, depending on cost.

I am enjoying this season so far. There's no way the Sabres are going after a rental, even with the extension. Horvat doesn't get us into the playoffs, so there's no reason to not wait until ufa starts. And even then, I'm not sure I wanna play chicken with another gm- to see just how stupid a contract horvat gets. Franchise centers- you move whatever you have to move. A good #2 center?- not so much.

Matt Roy is not available. If you're looking for a guy with size, Grans is potentially available, but not for a 2nd. Otherwise, your RHD options are Walker, Durzi, and Spence.

I can understand that. I want a defensive d, preferably a physical one, to pair with power. Dahlin really turned a corner for us when he started playing with Samuelsson, I want that same guy looking out for Power.

Makes sense. Don't think you're going to find that from LA.
