well they dont, and no no one from TSN has reported they have interest in him, that was simply an opinion of Salim Valji wondering if they would have interest in him
speculation opinions are just that, speculation, not insider info

Oh man...Habs fans just out here abolishing the salary cap today.

"What do we want?"
"Josh Anderson out!"
How are we gonna do it?"
"Ignore the cap and take a top prospect back!"

But the Flames don't want Anderson. Let's think it out. Flames traded a future first just to get rid of Monahan's 6.375m on year contract. The last thing they want to do is to take on Anderson's 5.5m for almost five years. Flames have a 4.9m pay hike in Huberneau next season, as well as 3m hike in Weager.
Why do Hab fans think 5.5m Anderson is good deal for any team?

For that to happen, we’ll have to retain on Anderson, push someone onto LTIR/waive, take a cap dump back.

My guess, one of Zary or Pelletier (Coronato isn’t happening like I saw in another), a 3rd round pick, 5th round pick, and Milan Lucic for Anderson (25% retained over the remaining 5 years).

Then flip Lucic half retained.

I know that’s a long time to be retaining on Anderson but it’s going to be what gets it done.

Why are we trading Anderson all of a sudden?

Leading the Habs forwards in hits. Scoring at a decent pace. The team is winning. We can afford him. We value him where others don't. He's on the MSL skills improvement plan.

Stop trading Anderson unless we are getting a RHD back it makes no sense.

I guess my post P!ssed off many fans. I guess if Huberdeau would perform to his expectations then we wouldn`t be discussing these trades

Wrong again, the flames have been looking for another winger since the offseason. The report of them looking for one now has nothing to do with Huberdeau,

Not true. If Flames were firing on all cylinders, we would not be talking about a trade

Spend 30 seconds to look it up, friedman himself has reported the flames have been looking to add to their fwds even after they signed kadri. This is not new

Since you won’t look it up I’ll help you

heard this week that the Flames have been looking around for a scoring forward. I’ve been told that’s been going on since August, so I don’t think there’s anything pressing on that one right now.…that’s per friedman

False, it has been widely reported and the hope was they could solve it internally. That did not happen

Josh Anderson is the most debatable player in the NHL in terms of value right now

He’s either highly valued or a cap dump on this site

Sutter would probably love to have Anderson, but his contract is a hard pill to swallow given his lack of offensive contributions. We definitely don’t want another Lucic situation
