Bit of a troll post I guess, but not trying to start anything. Clarke was called "the second coming of Doughty" and "untouchable". Is it still the case?

What does it have to do with Ottawa? lol

And for Christ's sake... I am among the Sens biggest critics but

Ottawa is supposed to contend for the playoffs this season, not for the Cup.

When you remove the empty net goals, ALL OF THE LOSSES have been 1 goal games... 100% of them

They have been without Formenton all season, Talbot missed the first 3 weeks, Zub missed 8 games and Norris missed 10 games. Now Chabot is missing too

Plus, the coaching staff is clueless regarding the team defense concept

So yes the Montreal hype train is out of control and has always been. If you had lived here for a while, you'd understand, only major sport being one of the reasons, nostalgia another

Yes the NHL is adding 3 high end D-men this year

Yeah I mean a winning culture instilled over a 110 year history will do that. When there's no accountability in Ottawa you get what you have now

Again, it had nothing to do with Ottawa but you still... reiterate? lol for real?

So while we're at it, I have won a lot of Cups in my backyard as well. Most of the Habs history is so glorified in nostalgia but the reality is it was a small sport among a microscopic population. Weird that since Europeans and Americans have started taking over, how things have changed...

Look Ottawa has won 11 Cups between 1903 and 1927 too, it's not like it was the hardest thing to win. But since the 1990's it became much harder, which is why your favorite team has only won once. Ottawa lost its team in 1934 over money, they had more of a "winning culture" than your Habs by the way, the Cup count was 11-3 until that point so you can be grateful for that relocation I guess

Devils fans were calling him a bust and a throw-in i remember in the Summer when talking about the 2 number overall pick when they were offered multiple picks and Caufield.
