Best part of all these JT Miller trade posts is last two TDL's every Canuck fan wanted 4 first round pieces for him, such as 2, 1st round picks, a teams best blue chip prospect, plus a roster player of 1st round quality, and now they are down to Justin Barron and a pair of 2nd round picks.

Miller plays zero defense and that’s an absolute boat of a contract. One of the worst in the league and it doesn’t even start until next year. Also questions around his attitude as well

      Such as easy no.

Unless you want to take on Armia, Hoffman and Price too

Yeah all teams not named vancouver pass. If their players were worth that much, they wouldnt be a sub .300 team.

I would pretty much pass on Stillman due to the extra year. I get it if the Devils spent that on a rental just to have a #6/7 D to work in and out with Brendan Smith, but they probably want to have Smith as a #7 for sure next year as Luke Hughes would be 3LHD at worst, and Stillman isn't a top 4.

The truly crazy part is you won't even get this for him. Canuck fans should just accept that he will be in Vancouver for several more years.

Whole lot of risk comes with taking on his full contract, and not many GM's are going to want it on their books, let along add in picks or players for him. He's a very good player, but his contract is way to risky.

For good players, sure. But a GM is much more likely to sign a guy he wants for big money and a long term than trade for a big fat contract he didn't negotiate, especially when the player is 30+.

Exactly, and when his new deal starts next year, he will be 30, so his contract is $8m/year for ages 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36.

A player being a teams best prospects doesnt makes them blue chip, and kaut is not first round quality 5years out from his draft when he can barely stay in the lineup and has been sent down (not sure if he was waived. also looking back 2 1sts is def too much just assumed they would be 32nd lol

its nothing about horvat, or the avs "prospects or picks are untouchable"...avs just are not in the position to spend what remaining future assets they have on a rental.
Horvat is going to get paid....8x8 is his ask right now. Avs can not trade what remaining futures they have left for a guy that will 100% walk on them.

Avs fans would love if they could make horvat on their team work...but it just cant.

You have to READ son. I was talking about the last two trade deadlines and all the JT Miller trade proposals posted by Canuck fans then compared to this JT Miller trade proposal, and how the ask has dropped significantly. Reading is fundamental.
