Gio's playing great and having him out of the lineup with Holl in is kinda weird. I don't think we need a Patrick Kane level player with the wild cards like Steeves, Holmberg, Robertson, and Knies all available. Trading Sandin and Niemela will leave a much bigger problem sooner rather than later with the age or our D-corps and UFA status for most of them within a year or two.

Sandin's shaky this year but growing, trading him now would be a mistake.

Not Getting Anderson & Gavrikov is not what i’d look for, Rather get a RHD to add some more flexibility on the right side, Leafs have enough on the Left + Sandin is fine when he plays on his strong side

I don't get why Gio isn't playing RD. Sandin is supposed to be the future on LD, just foolish player management.

Miscasting players is sadly a staple in Toronto, Keefe just has a deep infatuation with Holl & Won’t move Gio to his off side out of stubornness
