Not that desperate

The Maple Leafs are always desperate...but for now they need a top 6 Dman.

Can't really see either sides doing that. Calgary just signed Weegar to a giant extension, and he is also just a fantastic defenseman. Nylander has been one of our best forwards for years, so we'll hang onto him. Moldenhauer, while likely having very little value as a prospect, is a guy that I would hang on to. I could see him turning into a Connor Brown kind of player. Again, I don't really see the need for either team to make this deal happen (although I would not be opposed to Weegar dawning the blue and white).

They aren’t trading Willy he is too damn important to the team especially rn, Rather go get Murphy (Cheaper) or a Guy like Jensen if he becomes available

I didn't mean to diminish the upside Moldenhauer has at all, I'm a huge fan of his (at won $5 from my buddies when I correctly guessed who the Leafs would take at 95), but as a newly drafted prospect who is still without an ELC, I can't see him being a piece in a trade of that caliber. Plus, I'd like to see him stick around because he is a genuinely good player who also grew up cheering for the Leafs

Really? Seems like the Flames need better defensive play than the Leafs. Not saying you didn't post a fair trade, but really there isn't much logic that Leafs need good Dmen more than any other team.
