MASSIVE underpayment. Kuzmenko and Schenn individually could probably fetch a decent prospect and a 3rd. I'd even make the argument that Schenn could fetch more as he is built for playoff hockey with big hits, good defensive IQ and a decent shot(doesn't shoot very much though).

While I firmly believe Schenn has very little value, Kuzmenko has more than Mete and Malgin.

No Schenn on his own is worth less than a 3rd. I would be surprised if he got you a 4th. Anaheim, Vancouver and Tampa all had him in the AHL when they were healthy prior to last year. Now he's in your top 4 only because you literally have no RD. He's a 7/8 defenceman on any good team. Very little value.

Kuzmenko.is worth more than this though.

Kuzmneko is playing at a very good pace. 7 goals, 11 points in 15 games. If he keeps producing like this, he could easily fetch a much better return. His cheap cap hit would be very appealing to many contenders

Schenn is a heavy hitter, a stud on PK(probably lone reason it's not at a 40%) and has a good shot when he uses it. He elevates the play of offensive defensemen AND is basically a "player assistant coach" your article also recommended the Canucks keep him.

If you are offered a trade, it will be for a team looking for a depth addition. And I imagine you'd ask Schenn's opinion on the matter. If he feels like taking a chance at seeing more playoff action then you trade him for whatever is offered. But no one is paying a 2nd or even a 3rd. Schenn is great to have around but if he's playing big minutes that's a very very bad situation.
