Probably the worst team defense I've seen in years. Goalies hung out to dry every shift.

It’s almost like there is no system, nothing going on strategically. I wonder who’s job it’s been to implement one on the last few years…

I mean the Sharks game formula is so simple; point shots and cycle the puck through Karlsson, and get it to Meier or I tend to to notice it’s Barabanov (something will happen).
When said players aren’t on; point shots, cycle puck through top of the blue line, get it on net.

I get Karlsson is absolutely buzzzzzzing but the fact the teams defence (WHAT DEFENCE?) has looked the exact same since 2019 is extremely funny.

Sanderson Calder worthy atleast lmao.

Senators is basically the 2016-17 Leafs, but without proper coaching AND worse defense and goaltending.

Just to remind people, Leafs top-6 D-men based on played games that year were Morgan Rielly, Nikita Zaitsev, Jake Gardiner, Matt Hunwick, Roman Polak and Connor Carrick.

The team is brimming with offensive talent...but at this stage it seems impossible to be any worse than this defensively.

I think at this stage it's clear that in both conferences, currently the teams in bottom-5 are out of playoff contention for the year.

From East this includes: Flyers, Capitals, Blue Jackets, Sabres, Sentators

And from West: Sharks, Blackhawks, Canucks, Coyotes, Ducks

Bold of you to assume Karlsson (the league’s current MVP) isn’t going to kill the Sharks Bedard odds.

Sharks leapfrog the Canucks tonight (and hawks) if they win and the Nucks lose to Vegas. Followed by Nucks having to play Vegas, AV’s then Sharks. Next 3 games are huge for Karl.

I look forward to when they fire Smith, go on a heater only to take themselves out of a top 10 pick. Again, after all the hype the fans put on this team in the summer, watching this happen is beautiful.

To be fair in 2016-17 Leafs allowed total of 234 goals. In 2017-18 the number was 230. Barely nothing changed in that regard.

Pettersson for Selke. Most even strength goals in the NHL and is a better goalie than Thatcher Demko

Jesper Bratt is absolute elite.

Best winger in the league imo.

He's got 3 Hart and Ted Lindsay trophies, so according to both player and writers - yes.

I mean Matthews won the Hart last year and he wasn't the best player

Perfect example being discussed on Sens Twitter right now.

Yeah we can say poverty franchise.

But Alex Debrincat is ABSOLUTELY being Ducharmed right now. It’s the EXACT same as Caufield.

Just piss poor utilization. Dude I’m some rando in bed hours away and I can tell you ALEX DEBRINCAT SHOULD BE YOUR ONE TIME OPTION ON THE POWERPLAY. Yet I ain’t see that once honestly, not lying. He’s on his off hand in almost all drawn up plays and PP shifts.

Oh and your playing him with Brassard lol. And scratching Joseph for Austin Watson.
