I think the refs got the three disallowed goals against the Devils right.

1. Bastian making contact in the crease when the shot is taken prevents Murray from effectively pushing left into a on-knee stance to attempt the save.
Murray's movement but also balance is quite clearly impeded and should 100% be overturned.

2. I'd argue this a dive on incidental contact by Murray if it weren't for Tatar failing to turn harder to the right.
The first point of contact is that of Tatar brushing his shoulder against Murray's which is completely fine and goal should stand if that were it.
But notice how Tatar's left leg goes into the back of Murray's leg / pad, that's a spot on the ice Murray already occupies and his ability to make a save is clearly interfered with.
Had Tatar just made a harder right where his leg and hip would have completely escaped contact with Murray, the goal would've been good.
Sloppy play by Tatar.

3. @A_Habs_fan got this right, goal correctly disallowed owing to rule 49.2.

While the refs got these three calls right it's unfortunate to have yet another game were the refs ignore clear penalty calls on the Leafs.
That's the concerning thing to me.

Also, stop throwing stuff on the ice.

Refs were fair with penalties we got 3 and NJ had 3 (not counting failed challenge). Refs really didn't miss much for either side so there was no pp advantage for either team. So don't be going missed penalties on the leafs that's just silly talk as we could argue the same thing for NJ. Refs and review team went by the book and it is what it is

The left shows the expected goals from each player on edmonton, they were expected to score 6 goals last night. The isles were only expected to score 2.

What a comeback by Dallas. Absolute fire.

That was amazing. I'm loving the depth of scoring this year too. Great to see Benn and Seguin rebounding this season and Benn mentoring the young guys on his line. He's showing why he's the captain.

Would like to see more production from our defensemen though...

Defense is an issue. Can't deny that.

We need to be in the market for one. Can't win playoff games like this.

Will be interesting to see how we try to solve that problem. I'm skeptical that we're gonna do anything.

Suter and hakanpaa have been terrible . I’d call up Harley and scratch Suter

Dunno what you want out of Hakanpaa for 1,5M/season?
This season 3+3, +8, hits, fights is necessary, does PK, blocks.

Its not like he is Gudbranson and Zaitsev with their caphit. I figure you are getting your moneya worth with him...

It would be cool if hakanpaa can learn how to play defense again . He allows too many high danger scoring chances

He is being played too much. Would be better in an more sheltered 13-14 minutes/game.
Shows lack of depth he plays 20-21.

Likewise. If I was the GM, Suter would get bought out immediately

I agree with that, but hes been well below average defensively. He needs to provide some value at 5v5

He would probably cry about being a healthy scratch , but it needs to be done if Dallas wants to be true contenders.

I like Heiskanen with Miller , lindell with lundkvist. Then shelter Harley and Hakanpaa

So far for super early TDL leaders

The 3 forwards everyone gonna want

1. Kane
2. Horvat
3. Meier

For Defense

1. Chycrun
2. Gavrikov
3. Dumba (Wild apparently are looking to move him even if they are winning games)

Meier to me is the most interesting as hes an RFA and if u extend him before the QO u can get him under 10mill

Yeah I would have given him 6 mill x 6, sometimes long term deals for goalies don’t work out but I would taken the risk.

Sorokin will probably get 8 x 8 now

Really man that blows, at least we were able to give the guy a send off one last time

May he continue to skate on in the big rink in the sky.

Husso to me feels like Jack Campbell 2.0

Is having this incredible start full of shutouts despite his team being meh in front of him

Wonder when the drop off is coming

As you got to think hes overachieving a bit.

I doubt Gavrikov gets traded simply because CBJ needs people on their blue line, unless Gavrikov has said to Jarmo “I’m testing FA”, I think he stays in CBJ

I think he gets moved at the TDL as I feel they want to go a different direction. Plus could get a descent return (people overpay for guys at the tdl these days)

Still super early but my sense is I think Columbus might want to revamp the blue line. Also improves their bedard chances
