Sens trading their 2023 1st round pick (OTT) after the season start they had is not realistic
Sens trading Boucher now after a massive reach 1 year ago is also not very realistic, unless someone gives them 10th OA pick value, which just won't happen
Anyway NO CHANCE they give up Three (3) 1st round picks, Two (2) 2nd round picks and a 3rd for Erik Karlsson, despite the retention
Zaitsev need to be included to make it work but they aren't going to give up additional value for that. It's not like Karlsson wasn't overpaid as well
This is BAD for Ottawa on so many levels

MTL isn't a dumping ground for forwards
OP is a Canucks/Leafs fan, Ottawa has ZERO interest in "dumping" Joseph, they want to keep him.

Happy to accept that EK65 deal if we can take away half the picks (2024 2nd OTT & 2025 3rd OTT) and grab Shane Pinto
No. Dorion is a pretty awful GM in general but at least he has been good for not trading away top prospects
Sens wouldn't do Karlsson for Pinto straight up, even with the retention
