Description
Canucks need to start making moves sooner rather than later, but all these have the 2023 trade deadline in mind.

This sets the Canucks up nicely for the offseason with over $9mil in cap space to attack next season in a different way.
Additionally, this provides additional leverage to negotiate with Bo, knowing that we have the space to do so or choose to trade him at the deadline - not held hostage by others.

Red Wings fans - I do believe Myers at $3mil becomes incredibly attractive, particularly as defensemen like Hamonic and Dermott went for third rounders last year. Let me know if the below isn't feasible though - I have NOT looked into your cap restraints.

Kuzmenko has looked pretty good, no? Why was he a healthy scratch recently?

The higher the number of trades is, the less likely it is to occur.

You could pick two of these and that would be reasonable.

Always liked Myers but I can't see paying a 2nd for a guy to play on the 3rd pair.

Devils aren't trading a 2nd+ for him if he's playing like that

Really can't see the Ducks buying on Dermott, we have a lot of puck moving D in the pipeline. If we are buying, its shutdown guys.

The 2nd is definitely on the wrong side.

Caps pass, they don't need more 3rd liners.

Detroit passes, Not possibly giving up a top 42 pick for a bottom pairing RD. Would rather just keep Lindstrom then pay Myers $3,000,000 to be our bottom pairing RD.

Isles would gladly take Kuzmenko for that prize. I would do Garland for a 2nd + a 3rd right now, he´s worth more but the current inflation in forwards dictates the prize. He would probably cost less considering his cap hit and what Bjorkstrand's cost to acquire was for Seattle.
