Johnsson probably gets ice time over some of your other wingers, assuming the Devils want to do the trade

…he’s in the minors for NJD… why would they not want to trade him?

A 1st round pick for Nico Sturm? Yeah, I think the Rangers will pass on that.

"some of your other wingers"

He's just saying that Johnsson could make this lineup... might be tradable at the deadline with retention.

As much as i would love to see EK65 in a Sens jersey again, and as fair as the trade is given how hes playing/taking Zaitsev, they simply can't afford his contract next year, even if it were at 50% retained, without having to move on from a much more important piece.

Formenton is closer to being in the clink than a rink

That Karlsson trade is laughably bad for SJ. Not even close

Holtz + 1st is way too much for Meier, Devils should steer clear.

- That much retention over that period of time : not realistic

- Alex Formenton in a trade under the current circumstances : not realistic

- Sens trading their 2023 1st round pick (OTT) after the season start they had : not realistic

Sens trading Boucher now after a massive reach 1 year ago is also not very realistic, unless someone gives them 10th OA pick value, which just won't happen
