Canadiens armchair GMs are exhausting. Teams aren’t gonna give up good assets for your garbage.

Colorado declines. This trade makes them worse today and in the future. Trash.

Using “/s” means sarcasm. The comment you’re referring to is someone making fun of a bad trade proposal hahaha.

As for your second comment, you’re being purposefully obtuse. This is a website where people evaluate trades for NHL teams. Asset for asset. I’m sure Evgeni Dadonov is a lovely person. But as an asset, he’s trash. I’ll keep my elementary school vocabulary, work on your elementary school logic lmao.

No but you have FLA first, I think that and Baron would be more so what the Canucks would want

Barron instead of Tuch could be and idea, but all 1st (mtl+fla) are part of our need for full rebuild.

DAL declines. Dellandrea is too interesting project to give up for a rental C we don't really need.

That's why i don't think Van and MTL make good partners for a Horvat trade, if we are trading Horvat it means we are rebuilding as well so we would want the more recent 1st

Ridiculously easy no for Colorado. I wouldn't even do that for Girard and then you want Colorado to add their only decent goalie prospect?

It is, and I'd have money on it matching Sakic & MacFarland's.

So COL trades a top 4 puck moving dman locked up on a sweet heart deal for half a decade and their top goalie prospect for an often injured non offense producing dman, an over priced version of JT Compher and 2 throw away picks all while taking on more cap. @TJwolf is exactly right, COL doesn’t do this just for Girard. Let’s just say for a minute COL is willing to move Girard they are moving him only for 2 reasons, one to clear maximum amounts of cap space this deal does the exact opposite, or to get a legit 2C which this obviously doesn’t do either. Avs don’t even consider such an obviously flawed offer.

Still doesn't change the fact that Monahan is not needed.

Pavelski is good, Monahan is not. They are not remotely comparable

I don't pay attention to Juiceman. Monahan is a serviceable player who still as energy to play the game. He is not bad considering his hips surgery.
