Columbus declines, nothing there for Columbus to make that trade, no need for another wing and they can be better then a C level prospect and a 3rd for Gavrikov.
Columbus declines. There’s probably a lot of interest in Gaveikov this year and the bidding markets usually don’t start till the deadline.
I feel like value wise the trade is fair with Nashville but they still gonna decline because they already have Josi, Ekholm, McDonaugh, Lauzon who are lefties and Lauzon has to play on the right side. Maybe if this was the off-season Nashville would accept then maybe.
Price for Gavvy is likely a 1st+. Could maybe do a 2nd if the prospect is highly ranked, but PIT’s farm system doesn’t really have anyone who can fit the bill right now.
Unless Nashville can then take McDonagh and turn him into a jeannot replacement, this does nothing for nashville. We have 4 nhl lhd forcing one of them to play their offhand.
