I'm all for dealing Heinola but wouldn't waste him on a rental.

Toronto needs a more proven guy if they are adding D, they also need a top 6 F and Kerfoot is playing that role. They can probably trade Heinola elsewhere for a 1st maybe then acquire Engvall for a mid pick. Or they trade one of Dillon or DeMelo+ possibly to Toronto for Kerfoot+, and play Heinola.

Or maybe they can trade him to Vancouver for someone if Heinola can play the right side. Ottawa is another potential location.

Its not that I dislike Heinola but he doesnt work as hes a LD

We need a RD unless were upgrading over Sandin

Demelo makes more sense for us

I would do Heinola for Robertson. Or Stanley for Kerfoot.
