  1. Chychrun, Jakob
Additional Details:
Trade for Chychrun already! Its insane that they are so stubborn. Arizona wont give him away! Pinto and a 1st isnt outlandish for a top4 D in his prime at a discount contract. The cap going up by 3 million next year then another 5 or so million in 2024 makes his contract a steal when he makes the same as Gudbranson in CBJ. The Bolts overpaid for Hagel with 2 1st round picks because of the discount contract.

Loser mentality from loser fanbase. You need to risk to get!

Loser mentality or just obvious logic.
Why trade a position of need for another position of need. We won't be a better team that's for sure. With Norris out, that leaves us with Stutzle, Brassard, Kastellic at centre.
Chychrun hasn't even played a game this season and has chronic injuries. He won't even be on the team as soon as the trade is made.
Then he's a LD and we have Chabot and Sanderson on the left side. Our RD is our area of need.

He's a great player when healthy, but he's 24 with the injury history of a 44 year old player

Lmao that 1st is going to be high. Yeah that’s way too much for a LD who’s going to be a ufa in a few years and has never played a full season

Ottawa is not giving up a Top 5 pick in a deep draft with no lottery protection for Chychrun.

Try again.

Top5... lol... since when? This is as bad as your take on the Beaudin/MTL trade that players on waivers should never be acquired

"Winning trades is as important as winning hockey games"

1. We're currently among the bottom 3 in the standings and things are heading in the wrong direction.

The pick being in the Top 5 is well within the realm of possibilities.

2. My take was that players that are placed on waivers and go unclaimed have no trade value.

And winning trades is a big part of what builds a winning hockey team.

This is a losing trade for Ottawa.

Ottawa declines.

Try again.

lol Ottawa isn't doing that

This has been explained for months

Pinto is not for trade. That 2023 first is also not for trade considering the start of the season for the Senators

SATU QUO until the team is sold. Can the OP understand that?

Lebrun literally said what I suggested. The Hagel trade makes Chychrun that valuable and the ask is two 1sts and a prospect.

But continue to live in denial. Great look. Homers going to homer

What Lebrun didn't say was why nobody has paid Arizona's asking price for Chychrun after months of trade speculation.

Or why giving up Pinto and a potentially Top 5 pick in a deep draft is in Ottawa's best interests.

But continue to live in misery. Great look. Whiners going to whine.
