Description
Parayko Waives

I went super freaky with the line up. Getting Parayko and upgrading to a guy like Kuzmenko and adding in Knies. The team looks good.

Seven more seasons of Colton Parayko for a first and an A prospect? (A rental and an over-the-horizon middling pick don't count for much.)

I don't think so.

Engvall and kuzmenko are the same age and both are UFA at the end of the season. Kuzmenko is on pace for 33 goals and 61 points. Engvall is on pace for 9 goals and 18 points.

This is an extremely easy decline from Vancouver

Engvall holds no value in the trade, other than cap consideration. It was 2nd + 3rd for Kuzmenko. He may fetch a first based on his cap hit though.

Point of order: Neimela is in no way, shape or form an A prospect.

Let’s say the 3rd is the cost for unloading engvall as a cap dump, that means it is a 2nd round pick for kuzmenko.

Here’s a question: what do you think Bunting is worth? Kuzmenko is performing on the level bunting did last year

Hey he has 5 points in 22 Liiga games as a 20 year old in his D+3 season! That’s almost as good as *checks notes* Leo Lööf?

No blues aren’t trading Parayko
Please stop as this isn’t even close to enough in value for him anyways

Side note: Leo Lööf is a legitimate prospect and I’m surprised nobody in STL is talking about him.

I love how Laff fans think they're getting Parayko without at least William Nylander being included. Sorry but Kerfoot+Niemela+A late 1st and 3rd round pick is nowhere near enough for Colton Parayko. How about the Blues give up Scandella for Marner. Yeah this trade is that laugh

I don’t think Samo is much, but I like Tucker as a 5-7 and Lööf definitely could be an impactful minute eater. Kessel will play too but I’m not sold that he’s gonna do well. Some issues to his game imo. I wish we could find a way to swing a talented young guy like Heinola. Koromyslov a deep deep sleeper too but he’s probably 3-4 away.

Niemela was an A tier prospect last season but he has not been that good this season. He is also turning 21 and hasn’t transitioned to NA yet and usually that takes a season or 2 to adjust to aswell.

Overall though parayko would be a good target for Toronto but I can’t see St Louis selling, even if they are out of a PO spot come TDL a lot of their top players are young and majority of their core is u31 so they got time
