Created by: Dekes
Team: 2022-23 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 18, 2022
Published: Nov. 21, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
CBJ trade would also be at the TDL so contracts would be pro-rated which should leave B’s with a little more cap space to work with, like potentially getting texier in the line-up
Trades
1.
BOS
  1. Roslovic, Jack
  2. Texier, Alexandre
Additional Details:
I know texier most like doesn’t play this year. Maybe B’s get lucky and he decides to come back once the Swiss league season is over and improves our team even more. I think he has solid potential and has shown flashes of good 2 way talent but he just doesn’t receive the greatest opportunities in Columbus.

Roslovic is the Center piece of this deal, I think he would be a solid improvement on the third line and would make our team even more of a pain to slow down offensively
CBJ
  1. Harrison, Brett
  2. Smith, Craig
  3. 2023 1st round pick (BOS)
  4. 2025 3rd round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
Smith is needed to make cap work in this move.

I think Tex might be a bit of an ask. CBJ are still a fan of his play. If CBJ see the F situation remaining clogged going forward, I could see it happening, though.

There is clearly some tension buidling between Rosy and the front office, so I could see him moving.

Roslovic, sure. But I don't think the front office is ready to give up on Texier yet. Not to mention what a terrible look for an organization to trade a player while he's on the Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health list.

How about a replacement of bemstrom for texier and B’s remove the 3rd?

I’d be fine with this. Your choice of Bemstrom or Foudy.

Just stop. Not disrupting the chemistry of this team and the bottom six by trading a 1st for an overpaid third line winger who has another year after this one. For now, keep Smith and his expiring contract as your 12/13th forward as insurance as you move towards the trade deadline and playoffs.

If BOS is moving their 1st, it will be for a player to put them over the top like a Kane. Not part of dumping cap.

Isles could have claimed Mike Reilly twice for nothing. Now they trade for him? Aho has looked surprisingly good so LD3 not as big of a need any more. I'd take Reilly at half retention if BOS or someone else does it
