How much would you want for Durzi?

Zero chance Winnipeg overpays so badly for a rental.

Isn’t getting any playing time & just stuck in Limbo, Kerf is worth a 3rd at most 5th at worst, What is Heinola worth?

More than a rental that isn't doing much of anything this year.

Currently, the RD3 role is up for grabs between: Clarke, Walker, and Spence

The LD2 role has been filled by Durzi, so an LD2 replacement would be mandatory in any trade for him.

The issue is, the Kings have depth in their prospect pool and all their picks for the coming drafts, so what they need is: upgrades at LD, physicality, and potentially a future goalie prospect. To wait until a good deal comes around only bolsters Durzi's value.

Wait, Durzi is right handed, why is he playing the left side?

Because the King's LD depth is: Anderson, Edler, and then a few prospects (Bjornfot, Moverare)
RD depth is: Doughty, Roy, Durzi, Clarke, Walker, Spence, and then a few prospects (Grans)

I was skeptical but he's proven to have the ability to play tougher minutes if paired with a shut down D (roy)

Right, Ottawa needs a RD2 and Los Angeles seems to have a lot of those.

Walker would be the easiest asset to get from us right now, the Kings would be very unlikely to move Durzi or Spence without significantly upgrading the left side with a current top-4 player.

Along with my friend and esteemed colleague, I would accept that offer as the Kings' GM.

Would Erik Brannstrom interest you?

I wouldn’t know tbh, I had high hopes for him but it's hard to say rn if LAK would like him or consider him a real upgrade

He’s the name I’d want to see, but Durzi is currently a top-4 LD, like Sandin, Brannstrom isn’t there yet. Any trade for Durzi must involve someone currently eating 20 minutes as a LD. I think the Kings flip Durzi in a package for Chychrun. He’s done enough to be a more intriguing piece than Turcotte
