So, it looks like you're offering the first as compensation for taking Armia as a dump, which is about right. However the 2nd is the only part of the remainder with any value. So that is far less than Chiarot got as.a rental. Add another first and a top prospect minimum.

The Jets also obviously won't move Dubois until the summer at the earliest.

Many Habs fans want to rip off Winnipeg with Dubois. I think MTL 1st, if 15th overall, would be a reasonable price for Dubois + dumping Armia contract.

Keep the 2023 2nd and Evans, and don't sign Monahan. Trading that 1st isn't ruining the rebuild because Dubois is young, he's good for future.

Tuomisto is the only RD prospect Detroit has. He won't be traded and absolutely not for a LD where we are stacked with prospects.

Oh I have accepted a few years of mediocre hockey coming up. The MTL cup run was the 1st time I was old enough to remember it and the dopamine and happiness it brought me was the most I ever felt tbh. Want that again
