Rielly and Brodie will be back. We need depth defenceman in the mean time. We also still need one more option on the wing. Engvall, Aston-Reese, and Malgin are all worthy of ice time but Clifford and Simmons best days are gone.

Sunny has become one of the leaders of this team. Team loves him. And he loves being a Red Wing. His size and compete level are greatly appreciated. Plus he's literally the ONLY Red Wings player who can effectively screen the goalie.

You would have to pay more for the value of schenn in relation to the team, so a 2nd probably. Anything less and there is no sense in trading schenn from the canucks perspective

Yzerman is extremely high on Sunny, He doesn't bring in traded players than just to let them go. A line of Soderblom-Rasmussen-Sundqvist has been solid for us. Yzerman will resign Oskar very little doubt there.

No one is giving up a 2nd round pick for Luke Schenn. It’s not 2010.

It isnt about his hockey value, and to the canucks, they would have to be blown away by a trade in order to trade him
