Decent TDL

Team: 2022-23 Montreal Canadiens
Description
Trade 1:

Edmundson = Prospect + 3rd

Eddy would fit really well in LA and at half the price tag for 2 cup runs before Kopitars contract runs out would be sweet.

Trade 2:

Dadanov = 5th

Someone will take a flyer on him for half price for the playoffs, especially for a 5th

Trade 3:

Monahan = Zadina

From what I've read from DET fans on here, Zadina's fallen out of favour in DET and seems like his value is low for a 22 year old former 6th overall pick. If Monahan continues to play well, maybe Yzerman acquires him to get a head start on convincing him to sign with the team before he becomes a UFA in the summer.

I'd do it since you retained 50%. I like Monahan and Zadina needs a fresh start. Newsy could move Copp to the wing where he belongs. Or Monahan could be 3C with Rasmussen at wing. I was thinking that's why Detroit was scouting the Habs/Sabres game last night. Seeing where Monahan's game is at.

Spence would be a solid prospect to pick up. Nicely done.

Kings don't have the salary cap space for this trade. We can do it using Walker instead of Spence

Wow another bad deal for Habs and Wings. Sorry Wings want nothing to do with Monahan
