Douglas has 1 point in 13 ahl games playing on the 4th line. His ceiling is a 4th line centre Timmins has had injurie issues but was a legit RHD prospect not long ago it’s a good move

Yah I'll come back to this when Timmins plays as soft as Tyson Barrie and Douglas becomes Mason Marchment

Douglas is years away from being ready, as guys that big take longer to develop an NHL level skating ability. Which is why Chara was a better player at 35 than 25.

Douglas is a 3C on the Marlies, Timmins has actual NHL potential.

I mean Timmins has played in the NHL and did alright with the Avs. Sandin and him played together in the OHL so this could be interesting

Anyone that thinks Douglas is a power forward hasn't wat hing him play at all this year. He's super soft for his size and can't fight. He's pretty guaranteed to peak at AHL depth player. This was an absolute steal for Toronto

Dubas trades a fringe AHL player who had one productive stretch for a legit NHL RHD with a ton of upside. This is a great trade

Douglas has one point in 13 ahl games. The only reason he even has an nhl contract is because he’s 6’9”. If he makes the nhl it’s in a 4th line role. Where as Timmons has some real upside.
