Knies is as good as gone

Created by: Brad_Treliving

Description
Dubas doesn't care if his team is the softest, least intimidating team in the NHL. He builds around the Kerfeets, Malgins, Petans, Holmbergs. Here is what I predict if the Leafs trade Matthew Knies

Lol. Knies isn’t going anywhere, he’s a power forward who puts up points. Douglas was just big.

So let me get this straight: Because Dubas traded an AHLer, he's going to trade our best prospect? That's a logical fallacy if I've ever seen one. Douglas is not a point producer and doesn't bring anything to the table for the Leafs. I'd be shocked if he ever played for the Leafs. I think Timmins is going to shock a lot of people.

Also, if Douglas succeeds in Arizona, don't be surprised. Nick Ritchie flourished there. They have a knack for physical players. He wouldn't have done anything in Toronto even if we did keep him around (i.e Mason Marchment)

Knies isn't staying on this team for much longer, he is as good as gone. Dubas will trade him. He tried trading him for Branden Hagel

Mason Marchment was traded for Denis Malgin, Douglas was traded for another Tyson Barrie. Dubas traded Kadri for Kerfeet and Barrie. Dubas let Hyman walk. Dubas thinks you can with with the Robertsons, Malgins, Petans, and Kerfeets

Brandan Hagel isn’t a small skilled player though. And he ended up getting traded for 2 firsts. This is not comparable to trading a 4th line ahler.

Tampa Bay got him, and they know what they are doing, to put it lightly.

You don't know that Knies is gone. You're that pretend Leafs fan who cheers for the Isles, right? LOL

Oh, he tried to trade an NCAA player for a 23 that scored 21 goals through 55 games at the time of the trade? The horror.

Your assertion here is stupid to a new degree.

I hate the Islanders but respect is given with the way they play especially after the JT debacle. Sheldon Keefe begs for his team to be respected

Genuinely, I’m gonna be completely Honest, 6’9 243 for 6’2 205 seems fine to get a fringe NHLer that has upside compared to a 6’9 Guy who can’t skate & DOESN’T HIT, You say Soft that’s Douglas’s middle name, He fights & That’s it. He isn’t Clune or Gabriel stop pretending you knew anything about him but his height & weight

No, they haven't won a cup but at least they went to the ECF. You know what the Leafs were doing? Losing in the first round
