Tage Thompson is amazing. I wouldn't trade him for Connor Bedard. That guy gives you a chance to win every night and he's just getting better.

He is a real treat to watch that's for sure.

Went from being a punchline to a super star.

My favorite active NHL player. I find myself watching, for the first time in my life, Sabres highlights every other night.

Thompson is sick but saying you would take him over Bedard is a take. Bedard could be Mcdavid/Crosby/Matthews like

We all have our favorites. He brings something unique up the middle in the NHL right now.

I would look for some physical middle six winger instead Olofsson. Also not sure yet about Jokiharju in the top 4, this season he has to prove he's up to it.

"My favorite active NHL player. I find myself watching, for the first time in my life, Sabres highlights every other night."
So many Sabre ACGM's are coming out of the woodwork praising Tage.
18 months ago nearly all would have traded him for a bucket of pucks.
He actually starting showing signs back in 2019 after he was sent to Rochester scoring 8 goals in 11 games.

Then Krueger was hired as HC, Tage was sent to Rochester and was injured his first game in the NHL and missed the entire season.
Krueger's style hurt many players, Tage was only one.
After Granato was named HC, he put Tage at RW with Mittelstadt and Asplund.
Over the last 20 games that year he started his break out with 7 goals and 4 assists.
Of course he had his big break out last year, and still many Sabre ACGM's complained about his contract.
He is absolutely lights out this year. Big players take longer to develop and who is bigger than he.

That kid Soderblom, though I'm sure Tage has better skating, hands, and mental execution.

Not going to make playoffs unless another top 4 D man is acquired. Joki should either be 3rd pair or traded. I've lost my patience waiting for him to suddenly become a viable top 4 guy. Let's move on and get an upgrade
