Jets need to pay more for reinhart. Even with florida needing to shed cap he’ll cost more than that. I’m a huge fan of Chibrikov though. I’m not sure who’s going to pay florida a meaningful roster player for Reinhart though. Everyone knows florida needs desperate cap help.

I get what you're trying to do with the Bennett trade. The panthers have cap issues and they dont have to worry about Chibrikov till next year plus they add a serviceable dman on a cheap salary, but the problem is Bennet is worth way more than this. Hes 26, coming off his best season and is under contract at a decent price. I love the move for the jets but they would have to pony up some more
