For the Canes, Slavin, Pesce, and Koochie are all way better choices than Stastny.

DeBrincat is in the final year of his contract and his qualifying offer is nine million so I would hardly call that the best contract on the Sens. Drake Batherson probably is.

you're right, but watch out, you've got team anti-Willy incoming. Gio and Bunting (though not as much this year) are also acceptable answers. Pure impact per dollar might go to Gio. Think Liljegren will be up there by the end of the season too

Pysyk for the wings? Dude isn't even playing. How about Kubalik - ppg player on 2.5 mil AAV for 2 years. Not to mention that Larking, Bert and Hronek all have pretty good contracts as well.
