Shattenkirks value is more than Kerfoot and a 3rd round pick.

And yeah good luck in convincing him to waive for any Canadian team. Not going to happen.

I guess we’re entering the “our team sucks but our players are super valuable” season - gimme a break bud

I would accept this offer as the Anaheim GM, of course -- with the caveat that the sooner, the better, as I think Kerfoot's value decreases with each day we move closer to the trade deadline.

Kulikov is a way better fit. And the asset cost would be waaaayyyyy less.

The guy you're quoting isn't a Ducks fan, he's an outside third party.

Kerfoot has been playing brutally this season, exactly what kind of return do you think we're going to get for an undersized middle six playmaker with *checks notes* a 26 point pace and a 3.5 mil cap hit.

There's been a LOT of defensive injuries this season across the league. RHD are in much higher demand than middle six forwards.

Kerfoot’s career numbers are remarkably consistent, at around 0.5 ppg. He’s excellent in the PK and he’ll come around, a lot of the Leafs struggling on offense but no worries - just a blip, and we’re still winning.
shatenkirk was a good player, but he is old and slow; Leafs have better options in house so no way we trade Kerfoot, never mind add a pick unsure , to get him. I think you’ll find the market for Shattenkirk pretty thin
