I think we sign Kane only if the Quinn, Cozens, Peterka line doesnt continue to click. Did you hear Cozens comments about wanting to stay w/ Quinn and Peterka for years and build chemistry?

That Tage Thompson contract is looking like a real bargain.

The only Sabre I can see us interested in is Mattias Samuelsson (Dahlin and Power being totally out of our reach).

I can see us trading you Sean Walker for a top-40 second round pick, if that is a pressing need, but right now, you don't look like you're going to be anywhere near the playoffs.

LA do not need Mittelstadt. I would try to trade Johnson+ for Grans or Spence. Durzi doesn't seem worth a ton to me, he has flaws in his game. I probably wouldn't have given more for him than 2nd.

We were talking last summer about a Johnson for Grans swap. Hell Portillo for Grans even makes sense. Don't see why LA would move either Durzi or Roy and Samuelsson is off the table.

Johnson makes sense, and LA is overloaded on RDs dept. They will probably still have to move one of Roy or Durzi in the summer. They have Clarke, Spence and Grans in the AHL on RD. I would kick tires on Grans or Spence.

I get that folks outside of Buffalo haven't seen too much of Samuelsson, but he is absolutely unavailable. Think of him power and dahlin like Chicago with Keith, Seabrook and hjalmarsson. Essentially 3 guys playing huge minutes.
